Introduction – What is Gua Sha & how to use the OBIPRO™ properly

Before we dive into sculpting and lifting, today is all about understanding the foundations of this incredible practice.

Gua Sha originates from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and has been used for centuries to improve circulation, release tension, and promote overall wellness. Unlike typical facial massage, it works from the middle of the face outwards, guiding fluid towards key drainage points—underarms, ears, and temples.

Today, I’ll be covering:
✔️ How to use Gua Sha at the correct 45-degree angle (not 90!) for smooth gliding & better results
✔️ My favourite all-over face moves for a simple but effective routine
✔️ Tuning into your face – noticing areas of sensitivity, tension, puffiness, or tightness and learning to work with them

This is where we start building awareness in our practice. Every face is different, and over the next 20 days, you’ll learn how to read your skin, feel where you hold tension, and tailor Gua Sha to your needs.
