Gua Sha for Restful Sleep

Tonight, I started with Georgie Glow’s CALM Infused Botanical Oil, a soothing blend of Chamomile, Marigold, Sunray Daisy, and Bergamot to relax the skin and mind.

I paired this with 4-7-8 or 3-4-5 breathwork. Both great for easing anxiety and preparing the body for sleep. Breathe in through the nose, hold, and exhale slowly without forcing it.

With slow, grounding movements, I focused on acupressure points:
• Third Eye (between the brows) to calm the mind
• Anmian (behind the ears) for deep sleep
• Shenmen (inner wrist) to ease anxiety
• Temples to relieve tension

I also worked along the jawline to release tension, especially if you clench at night, finishing with light strokes between the brows for total relaxation.

To enhance sleep, I’ve switched my home bulbs to red light, a super simple change that helps boost melatonin, regulate circadian rhythms, and improve sleep quality. Easy to do, and it makes a real difference!
